About mü

Having recognized light as a principle actor in interior design, mü stressed this aspect in various projects by combining it with her love of pure forms and state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques and materials. Always searching for a deeper dimension in design, she inspires life to her objects by creating actor-object interactions. "Candelight", "HiLo" and of course "light on earth" are reflecting thes approach perfectly. mü began to stretch her search on different design elements and thus the fruits of her maturing process were abundant. Her objects were presented in Cologne (Ger), Milan (I), Langenthal (SUI), Frankfurt (Ger) and Kortrijk (B). Her growing portfolio opened the doors to "Team Steuler" (Red Dot Award 2001), were she got recruted as consultand and finally to RITZENHOFF, where 3 designs of mü are now produced.

And what about private life? Who woud have suspected mü being a passionate snowboarder? Let it be a nice atlantic wave, fresh swiss powder or a rope on a lake: She will just be there! Born at Lake Constance, she knows about water in all its forms and as a snowboard instructor she passes her passion to kids in her sparetime.
